Owned and trained by Kate Taylor-Wheat from the age of four where they commenced campaigning together in Novice.
2004: Oscar B & Kate Taylor-Wheat won the Advanced Champion title at the National Dressage Championships.
2004: Awarded "The Horse Magazine Encouragement Award" for the horse and rider showing exceptional potential for the future.
2006: Oscar & Kate travelled to Germany as a combination for three months to train with Sydney 2000 Olympic Gold Medallist Ulla Salzgeber.
2007: Commenced their FEI Big Tour Campaign.
2008: First CDI Big Tour event. Two 2nds and a 4th.
2009: Successfully commenced his campaign at Grand Prix scoring 67.2% at the Sydney CDI*** (3rd Place)
2010: Oscar B and Kate Taylor-Wheat continue to be one of the top Australian dressage combinations coming 3rd at the National Championships
2011-12: Due to niggling injuries and Kate's unfortunate illness in 2012, no competitions were completed.
2013: Oscar B and Kate's return to competition saw success again in the Grand Prix
2014: Oscar B scores his highest score in the Grand Prix of 67.55%
2014: Kate Taylor-Wheat makes the decision that after 13 years of training and competition from Novice to Grand Prix, it was time to retire Oscar B at the age of 18. Oscar B now enjoys acting like a 3 year old in the paddock and helping students with some of the trickier movements that he found so easy in the arena.
